The date of shrimp fishing from the Persian Gulf was announced

The head of the Deputy of Fisheries of Bushehr Province said: By examining the proposed dates of the research institute, the release time of shrimp fishing is set as August 3rd.

Fishing is a long-standing profession of coastal residents of Bushehr province, Iran. In this regard, shrimp fishing has a special place for the locals in this region.

Having a 930 km of sea border with Bushehr province and the Persian Gulf has created a significant capacity for shrimp fishing.

Shrimp fishing is free only for boats and fishing boats for a particular time declared by the Iranian Shrimp Research Institute. Shrimp fishing is considered a violation outside that time period.

Until the ban is announced, fishing boats can go shrimp fishing in designated habitats in the Persian Gulf daily with a 24-hour permit.

According to the proposed dates of the Iranian National Shrimp Research Institute, the time for the release of shrimp fishing was agreed to August 3rd.

The research patrol of Iran’s shrimp research institute had started in mid-July to evaluate the reserves of this fish in the waters of this province. As a result of the patrols, the number of shrimp reserves in 30 stations with different depths was examined.

The Iranian research team of the Shrimp Research Institute has announced the condition of shrimp in the Persian Gulf in terms of quantity and quality. And it is predicted that Bushehr shrimp fishers will return full of the sea this year.

Preservation and protection of marine resources and water resources is a national and public duty. The shrimp farmers in Bushehr must all work together to preserve the sea as a national asset and achieve sustainable and responsible shrimp fishing, which is also a global slogan.

Thus, with the beginning of the shrimp fishing season, the fishing boats of Bushehr, along with more than 8,000 sailors, will start to catch shrimp in 35 shrimp farms in the Persian Gulf.

Shrimp fishing started last year on August 3rd. It continued until the end of September 18th with the fishing of 1,900 tons of shrimp.
